Water Feature “Aqualon Vaduz”
This wonderful water feature is the highlight in the overall design of the outdoor area of a commercial building in Vaduz ( Principality of Liechtenstein ).
The two very large, round, yet very shallow pools of water were given a subtle flow effect at the water’s surface, which slightly refracts the illumination of the 3 and 4 underwater spotlights, respectively.
This refraction of light conjures up wonderful, vivid lighting effects on the ceiling of the superstructure of the water pools.
Both basins are automatically pumped empty in the evening and filled again in the morning. Here, the water is pumped into a water reservoir in the underground garage to minimize the total water consumption.
In total, in relation to the basin diameters of 7.5 and 9 m, there are only 4m³ in the entire circuit.
Location: Vaduz ( Principality of Liechtenstein )
The individual elements of this water game:
1 water basin ( D x H 9000 x 100 mm ) with underwater lighting and flow effects
1 water basin ( D x H 7500 x 100 mm ) with underwater lighting and flow effects
Technology: water reservoir ( 5000 l ), control technology for light, pumps and water effects, filter technology, dosing technology for water additives in the underground car park, connection to the building technology
The realization of this water feature took place in excellent cooperation with the following partners:
Exterior planning: Fa. terrain: Prof. Klaus K. Loenhart
Partner GaLa-Bau: Fa. Büchel Bau ( Bendern, Principality of Liechtenstein )
